Graphic designer for the exterior signage & wayfinding design during the renovation of this quaint seaside village, originally establised in 1886. Design elements include vehicular, pedestrian, interpretive, and place name signage in a turn-of-the-century style.
 
Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences
University of Washington Campus, Seattle, WA, 2004
Graphic designer for new exterior & interior signage for a research and laboratory facility on the UW Campus. ILABS is dedicated to research into the learning of children and the brain science involved in that learning. Design established a new visual identity for the group, and uses light metal finishes and a classic typography.
 
Pier 70 Signage Program
Seattle, Washington, 2000
Graphic designer for the design of a new identity and signage system for an historic pier on the Seattle waterfront. Working with Fuller Sear Architects and Trade-Marx Sign & Display Co., KBD developed all sign types for directories, parking, ADA and life-safety signs in keeping with the restored character of the new pier.
 
Club International Interior Signage

Senior design consultant to GGLO Architects for the design of interior signage for a new shared VIP lounge used by several airlines. The design features special colors, finishes and unusual shapes to coordinate with a stylish set of interior colors and fabrics.
 
Federal Detention Center Signage Program

Graphic design consultant to System 2/90 for design of all interior and exterior signage for new prison south of SeaTac Airport.
 
Kitsap Regional Library Signage Standards
Bremerton, 1997-99
Graphic designer for signage design standards to be applied to a central library and 8 other regional branches. System involves use of System 2/90 and extensive graphic formats for changeable sign formats.

Graphic designer for an signage upgrade of large cafeteria; worked with Tsang Architects to develop new food service concepts and new signage.

Designer & illustrator for large mapping projects for all Microsoft buildings; all maps were designed on computer and produced via Iris 3047 ink-jet prints; over 600 maps were produced.
